Otherwise known as Universal Studio’s biggest mistake- Star Wars has a loyal audience of fans like no other movie! First of all it’s known as Universal Studio’s biggest mistake because in 1973 director, George Lucas came to them with the proposal of Star Wars and was turned down. Little did they know Star Wars would go on to make over 22 billion dollars! Um yea…a pretty huge mistake not to take in this movie! 20th Century Fox ended up picking up this gold mine and no one had even a slight idea it would take off as it did. The cast was on such a poor budget they had to fly coach to England to save money for the movie! Isn’t that nuts- I suppose Star Wars was one of those things that everyone thought would be a flop…and then it turned out to be a multi-billion dollar success! Wow!
